The Music Creators Growth Fund is a new investment programme designed to support growth across new music. Investments of £10,000–£20,000 will support music creators including: artists, artist collectives, bands, composers, DJs, groups, producers, and songwriters. 🎤 The Fund will provide direct access to investment for music creators with a sustained track record of professional creative practice, enabling them to: - strengthen their skills, capacity, and resilience - develop sustainable careers - create and share high-quality work - innovate and diversify income - build professional opportunities. To be eligible for this programme music creators must also: - have earned a minimum of £5,000 income from music-related activity during a full financial year within the last three financial years. Please note this must be income related to music creation and not teaching or other salaried or freelance income not directly related to your creative practice. - demonstrate a minimum of three years’ active music creation practice, with a proven track record of contributing to work that has been publicly shared, commercially released, commissioned, performed, broadcast, licensed, or otherwise professionally presented. - have professional support in place, which may include management, publishing, label representation, agent, lawyer. If you do not have professional support in place, you will have an opportunity to explain how you access professional advice, support or networks, and why a formal team structure is not currently part of your practice.
