🎷 Applications for Jazz North: Northern Line 2027–28 now open! Northern Line is an 18-month programme that helps jazz and jazz-inspired artists in the North of England scale up their live touring. It has supported 90 bands since 2013. What artists get: 💷 A cash bursary for gig fees, travel and rehearsals 🗺️ A bespoke artist development plan and 1-1 support 🎤 A paid showcase at Manchester Jazz Festival (23 May 2027) 📚 Priority access to specialist workshops Who can apply: Solo artists and bands aged 18+, based in the North West, North East or Yorkshire & Humber, who play original music and have a tour-ready live show. ⏰ DEADLINE: Mon 2nd November. 💻 Mon 12 Oct: 'Applying to Northern Line' Zoom session, 11am.
