Amplify Apprenticeship Programme 2027/28

Applications are now open for the Amplify Apprenticeship Programme 2027/28, and we’re inviting AIM members to apply as employers. Grow your team and help open up paid routes into independent music, with salary support, fully funded training and practical guidance throughout. What is Amplify? Co-founded by Women in CTRL and Amazon Music, Amplify is delivered in partnership with Big Creative Education, AIM and MMF, with support from Attitude is Everything and Black Lives in Music. It is supported by Arts Council England via AIM. The programme creates paid, accredited pathways into music for young people facing structural barriers. Each employer will take on one apprentice in an entry-level administrative and operational support role for 12 months, starting by mid-May 2027. The Business Benefits: · Salary support: up to 25% of the apprentice’s 12-month salary, based on the Real Living Wage. Employers cover the remaining salary, National Insurance and pension contributions. · Fully funded training: Big Creative Education delivers a Level 3 accredited qualification, funded through Amazon Music’s apprenticeship levy at no training cost to the employer. · Practical support: recruitment, onboarding, funded HR support, mentoring and regular apprentice check-ins. Is Your Business Eligible? Applications are open to independent music businesses across recording, management and live music, including AIM members and non-members. Businesses can be based anywhere in the UK but must have a base or regular presence in England, where the apprentice must spend at least half their working hours. Employers must commit to inclusive practice and provide a dedicated line manager for 12 months.
